Fund Administration

EFG Fund Administration Limited is a subsidiary of EFG Offshore Limited.

We provide third party fund administration services to a wide range of clients. Our team of qualified accountants, company secretaries, fund administrators and investment personnel has extensive experience in administration, accounting and reporting, offering an exceptional and personal service for funds domiciled in Jersey and other major international jurisdictions.

Our expertise encompasses

  • Private Equity Funds
  • Venture Capital Funds
  • Property Funds
  • Private Fund Structures

Specialist skills are employed on our clients’ behalf to account for and report on investment and other portfolios. Bespoke software is used to prepare valuations and reports, on a regular and timely basis.

Collective Investment Schemes

EFG Fund Administration will administer both open and closed ended schemes, including those quoted on recognised stock exchanges.

Valuation of these companies can be performed daily, or on a less frequent basis, and reporting can be in the format specified by clients, their advisors, or the stock exchange.

The schemes are not limited to securities and we administer collective investment schemes with substantial investment property portfolios.

Expert Funds

The Expert Funds regulatory classification for funds domiciled in Jersey and offered to institutional, professional or sophisticated investors provides for the special treatment of such funds, from a regulatory perspective,
subjecting them to a lighter degree of regulation and allowing them to be established within a much shorter timescale.

In addition Jersey has introduced a simplified and faster authorisation process for non- Jersey funds where those funds bear all the characteristics of an Expert fund.

Limited Partnerships

Limited Partnerships are tax transparent. Investors/partners are taxed in their own country and therefore these vehicles are suitable for bringing together investors from different jurisdictions, whose varied and particular requirements can be embodied in a partnership agreement. Schemes can be highly complex requiring specialised reporting disciplines.

Limited Partnerships are often used in structuring Venture Capital, Private Equity and Property funds.
